LAHORE, Growing hypocrisy and sham morality in society, discrepancies in the judicial system and sensationalising of human miseries by the media were skilfully highlighted in the annual play of Government College University’s Dramatic Club on Saturday.
Titled ‘Sazaayaab’ (the condemned), the three-act play evolves around a working woman who was gang-raped. Instead of consoling and helping her, the residents of the area declare her an outcast. The dejected woman could not get justice
