KARACHI: The total cases of patients battling different kind of poisons including those bitten by snakes was 1,158 in 2007, 1,257 in 2008, 1,217 in 2009, 2,789 in 2010 and 3,551 in 2011, said the National Poison Control Centre (NPCC) JPMC head Prof Jamal Ara.
