LAHORE, April 24: The Lahore High Court chief justice on Tuesday summoned the Punjab education secretary on a petition seeking enforcement of Article 25-A of the Constitution for providing free education to children.
Earlier, a provincial law officer informed the court that he had, on the last hearing, mistakenly given a statement that the Punjab government was working on a piece of legislation for enforcement of Article 25-A of the Constitution.
