ISLAMABAD: The federal government has launched another move to take financial control from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) with the intention of handing it to a ministry.
A private member bill, the Higher Education Commission Amendment Bill 2012, was submitted in the cabinet secretariat on April 6 by Pakistan Peoples Party MNAs Nafisa Shah and Yasmeen Rehman, according to sources.
Shah did not confirm the move, saying that no bill has been submitted yet. However, she admitted
