PESHAWAR, April 18: Educationalists at a seminar on Wednesday said some contents of the religious studies’ textbooks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa about Afghan fighting were overemphasised in a way that could undermine peace and incite violence and therefore, the government should bring necessary reforms to these books.
According to them, these contents are not in synch with the current socio-political realities for their controversial, discriminatory and gender insensitive nature.
