To improve literacy rate among girls in Sindh, the government has decided to award stipends to female students of classes one to five from the next session.
This was stated by Senior Minister for Education and Literacy Pir Mazharul Haq during a ceremony at the Gul Hassan Lashari School in Gizri on Wednesday.“A stipend of Rs2,600 per annum is already being given to girls enrolled in classes six, seven and eight.”
