Parveen Rao provides education to children in Karachi’s slums to fill the void left by the poorly equipped government-run schools. She helps children from poor urban neighbourhoods escape poverty by utilising teachers, school resources and mentoring opportunities from educational systems which serve the middle class.
This provides the middle-class schools an opportunity to help fight illiteracy and support quality education
