Muhammad bin Qasim, a student of class 8 at the Pak-Turk International School and Colleges, Peshawar, won a silver medal in the 6th International Environmental Project Olympiad, which took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from April 4-8. Qasim has stood second in a contest that featured 100 projects by students of 42 countries.
Aged 14, Qasim presented a research on a plant to find out treatment for patients suffering from diabetes. The plant called Tecoma Stans
