Teacher’s widow gets salary dues of husband
KARACHI A widow of junior schoolteacher Ashfaq Hajano got her husband’s unpaid salary dues of over nine years, on the directive of the Sindh Ombudsman Asad Ashraf Malik. A statement here on Monday said that she was paid a cheque of Rs 594,000 by the Sindh Education Department. It said that the amount was released after a lengthy departmental procedure. The statement said that the family of the deceased teacher was facing financial difficulties
