The United Kingdom (UK) announces new education package for KP

PESHAWAR The United Kingdom (UK) on Monday announced a new package of education support for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which will get more than 800,000 girls and boys to schools and build over 2,000 new classrooms by 2015.
A statement said that Adam Thomson, British High Commissioner to Pakistan and George Turkington, Head of Department for International Development (DFID) in Pakistan, announced the new package at the launch of this year’s school enrolment campaign with Chief Minister Ameer Haider
