The shortage of teachers in the public sector schools of Punjab persists even after the city district government and educational directorate filled 850 vacant posts a couple of months ago.
Sources told ‘The News’ here Tuesday that on the directions of the Punjab chief minister, the City District Government Rawalpindi and the Executive District Office Education, Rawalpindi district, filled 850 posts of teachers of different subject mostly science which were vacant for long.
