PESHAWAR, Oct 21: A recently retired employee of University of Peshawar (UoP) on Sunday threatened to commit self-immolation outside Governor’s House if the university administration did not pay him pension.
“I have been facing financial problems since my retirement as the university is yet to pay me monthly pension and commutation,” said Abdul Ghaffar, who retired as superintendent from directorate admission on August 1, 2012.
