LAHORE - The Government College University Lahore (GCU) Quality Enhancement Cell has organised on-campus awareness campaign against breast cancer in collaboration with the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
Addressing a ceremony at GCU Bukhari Auditorium, SKMCH oncologist Dr Ayesha Raiz said that early detection could result in survival rate of over 90 percent, but unfortunately due lack of awareness in Pakistan this disease was usually detected at advanced stages
