PESHAWAR, Oct 15: The health experts have urged journalists to create awareness among people about tuberculosis and inform them that it is a preventable and curable disease.
Addressing a workshop here on Monday, they said that treatment period of tuberculosis would be shortened from nine months to five or six months.
The workshop was arranged by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa TB Control Programme in collaboration with ministry of health and donors.
