The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has established dedicated isolation rooms in its Indoor Department, with requisite barrier nursing procedures in place for suspected or diagnosed cases of Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF).
The measure has been taken in response to reporting of CCHF cases in a public sector hospital. Moreover, the risk of CCHF will increase during the upcoming Eidul Azha when a large number of animals will be sacrificed
