LAHORE, Oct 17: The administrations of autonomous medical and health institutes in Punjab suffered a major ‘dent’ as the health department withdrew the power of granting of 89-day earned leave with pay from the heads of these institutions, Dawn has learnt.
The health department has notified the centralization of power vested to the health institutions and issued directions seeking compliance of the orders ‘in letter and spirit’.
