KARACHI - Sindh Madressatul Islam University has set up its administration block in its main building, while its academic block would be set up in its three old buildings – Hassanally House, Khairpur House, and Sardar House. Speaking at a meeting of the SMIU on Thursday, Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, vice chancellor, said these three buildings were built as boarding houses in 1909, 1912 and 1919 respectively.
Now the university’s classes will run in these buildings from January 2013.
