PESHAWAR: The vice-chancellors (VCs) of public sector universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have decided to pay the 20 percent increase in salaries to their employees and asked them to call off their strike and resume duty from today.
The protesting employees, however, refused to call off the strike and declared that they would take a decision after receiving the formal notification.“A notification is expected to be issued today while the salaries would be paid before Eidul Azha,”
