LAHORE: The 135th birth anniversary of national poet and philosopher Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal was celebrated on Thursday across the city with traditional reverence and enthusiasm.
A large number of people from all walks of life visited the poet’s mausoleum to offer fateha and pay their respect to the great visionary of the 20th century, who gave the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of British India.
