Exhibition depicts life, political struggle of Allama Iqbal
RAWALPINDI: The 135th birth anniversary of poet, philosopher Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal was celebrated at the Rawalpindi Arts Council with national zeal, fervour and enthusiasm on Friday. A speech and tableau competition among students and a photographic exhibition based on the life and political struggle of Iqbal for Pakistan were organised to mark the day in a befitting manner and pay homage to the great poet who envisioned the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Subcontinent.
