ISLAMABAD Students donate blood for thalassaemia children

ISLAMABAD, Nov 20: Out of the 150 students, faculty and staff members of the National University of Modern Languages (Numl), who screened their blood at a camp on Tuesday, only 90 could donate blood for children suffering from thalassaemia.

During the campaign at the university, around 40 per cent of the people could not donate blood because of different diseases, deficiency and other issues, Dawn has learnt. Most of those who donated blood were students, especially girls.
