The district health department is hopeful of achieving targets set for the ongoing ‘Mother and Child Health Week’ that is being organised from November 15 to 21 in areas of the district, which are covered through lady health workers.
During the week, as many as 48,053 pregnant women would be administered Tetanus Toxoid and 206,874 children aged between two to five years would be given tablets to kill intestinal worms, said Executive District Officer
