Officials face probe for defrauding pharmacy students in examination to get a degree

TIMERGARA, The district administration of Lower Dir has ordered an inquiry against the officials of health department for allegedly defrauding candidates appearing in examination to get a degree in pharmacy.

Sources said that the officials of health department received Rs10,000 from each candidate instead of the original fee of Rs2,800 for appearing in B-Pharmacy and C-Pharmacy examinations. The officials embezzled more than Rs10 million, they added.
