On the occasion of the 89th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Turkey, the Ambassador of Turkey and Mrs Babur Hizlan hosted a reception at the embassy which was, as usual, a hugely attended affair — diplomats of many cadres; civilians from many walks of life; Turkish nationals in Pakistan and officers of the armed forces of the Diplomatic Defence Corps as well as Pakistani officers were present to congratulate the hosts.
