LAHORE
ON the directions of the Punjab Food Authority DG, the food department officials inspected 197 food points in various parts of the City and collected 53 samples of cooking oil and ghee.
The department started this inspection after a news item appeared in a section of press that dead animals’ fat was being used for producing oil which was being used for cooking purpose by small vendors.
