A Q Arif creates dreamy landscapes, half-imagined and half-real. The mirage-like architectural elements in his domes and buildings shimmer as reflected images in wide pools of water. These skillfully portrayed structures loosely link his present mood to earlier work, when his main sources of inspiration were the remnants of a bygone era.
