An anti-corruption team raided the office of the Hyderabad schools director to search his records and detain him.
Anti-corruption officials said Shamsuddin Dal, who also holds the charge of Karachi District, had been charged with corruption.
They said that despite being a grade-19 official, Dal had been working on a grade-20 post. Dal was still on the run until the filing of this report.
