ISLAMABAD: An important visit of the World Bank (WB) to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been rescheduled. WB was planning to visit HEC in the second week of December, 2012 but now the trip has been delayed to the last week of January.
The request to delay the trip was made to avoid the possibility of declaring HEC’s efficiency ‘unsatisfactory’ for a second time, during the last six months. Besides, there was also a possibility that the ministry of finance may lose US $100
