Newcastle disease caused Rs 7 billion loss to farmers in Punjab
LAHORE: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha has urged scientists to equip themselves with latest knowledge and skills to cope with Newcastle disease which caused Rs 7 billion economic loss to Punjab last year. Talking to APP on Sunday, he said that tight safety measures were necessary to save the flock from the disease in the current year.
