<strong>LAHORE, The Lahore High Court chief justice on Monday dismissed a petition challenging reappointment of Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran as Punjab University vice chancellor.</strong>
Representing the Punjab government, a law officer argued before the court that after an amendment introduced in the University Act there was no bar on reappointment of a VC.
He said the Search Committee could reappoint outgoing VC if he/she stood qualified among all contenders for the slot.
