Vice-chancellors of universities of the province called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town on Friday.
Amendment to the Universities’ Act, powers regarding recruitment on contract by vice-chancellors in special circumstances, appointment of vice-chancellors, their salaries and other matters relating to universities were discussed in detail during the meeting.
