SPARC: Protecting children’s rights
ISLAMABAD: On December 9, 2012, Hassnain Abid, a student of class grade, was allegedly tortured to death by his teacher in Hassanabdal. This is a reminder of the fact that the provision of basic human rights, including the right to be free from torture and violence, has so far remained a commitment just in books for Pakistan.
