Workshop on Universal Salt Iodization (USI)
PESHAWAR: One day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop was held here Friday under Health and Nutrition Wing FATA on Universal Salt Iodization (USI) with support of UNICEF Peshawar. Agency Focal person and agency facilitators from Khyber, Mohmand, Orakzai and Bajaur Agency participated in the workshop. Dr. Mohammad Rauf Wazir Project Director Health and Nutrition presided over the workshop and delivered a detailed presentation on the importance of iodine salt and diseases caused by the deficiency
