Higher Education Commission (HEC) held 15th Punjab Region Inter University Debate Contest for award of Allama Iqbal Shield 2012.
Topic of the competition was ‘Education is the Most Effective Weapon against Rising Tide of Extremism.’ Around 72 contestants from 31 public and private sector higher education institutions of Punjab participated in the contest. Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation/Education and Literacy Punjab Mian Mujtaba
