Around 150,000 students left in the lurch as education dept reneges on its promise

The 1,300 schools set up by the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) under the Integrated Education Learning Programme (IELP) are in financial doldrums as the education department is delaying the funds it promised for running them.

 

Around 150,000 students are enrolled in these schools and 3,500 teachers are employed there.
