The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has so far disbursed more than Rs120 billion among destitute families in its short-term strategy to cope with poverty.
BISP, the first ever mega initiative of direct cash transfer to the resource-power women and their families in the country, has bring a major change in the society through introducing long term and short term initiative.
