<strong>HYDERABAD: Open heart surgery is likely to resume at the ill-equipped cardiac and thoracic surgery department of the Liaquat University Hospital’s (LUH) city branch in the first week of February, says the department’s head Prof Dr Raheel Hussain.</strong>
“We had planned to start surgeries by mid January but we were made to wait because of slow pace of work. The department will hopefully start functioning within two to three weeks,” he said.
