‘Provision of clean water a must to cut disease burden’ disease burden is increasing manifold in Pakistan mainly

The disease burden is increasing manifold in Pakistan mainly due to the consumption of contaminated water, as the provision of clean water is not amongst the priorities of government.

 

Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) central leader Dr Qaisar Sajjad said that every year more than three million people suffer from the waterborne diseases in the country and some 1.2 million people, including 0.25mn children, died of these diseases.
