Rangers to protect polio workers in campaign

KARACHI: Sindh Health Department has agreed in principle to coordinate with the Sindh Rangers, presently escorting voters’ verification teams and re-start door to door oral polio vaccination in Karachi with required security for its polio workers.

A senior health department official told APP Tuesday that the next OPV campaign was scheduled to begin in the province from January 28 to 30. “It is, however, planned to be conducted from February 4 to 6 in Karachi,” he said.
