Karachi DCET
A protest broke out at the Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET) after the senior management of the college amended its admission policy.
The management had decided in a meeting that seats reserved for self-finance students, 100 in all, would be divided among students who had cleared their test on merit. “Only 24 students had cleared the test for self-finance seats, whereas 1,200 students had been waiting to be admitted on merit.
