An emergency vaccination campaign against measles in Karachi, that was to commence from Thursday, January 03, 2012, has been postponed for two days due to the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and would now begin from Saturday, January 5, officials said.
Over 600 children suffered from measles in 2012 and 15 of them died due to complications after contracting the viral disease, compelling health authorities to launch an emergency vaccination
