Chicago Communities Wary of Chicago School Closures
CHICAGO — Long after the last school bell scatters children back across this city each day, Tzia Ford is more often than not still inside Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School. </P>Years ago, when her mother walked these same halls, a competitive cheerleading team kept young girls off the street after class was over.
