GUJRAT: An explosion in a travelling school van in Gujrat’s Koh Fateh area killed a teacher and 17 schoolchildren, reported Express News on Saturday.
Earlier Express News reported that it was a cylinder blast however after investigation, it was known that the explosion was apparently caused by a spark when the driver of the dual-fuel van switched from gas to petrol.
Police chief Dar Ali Khattak told AFP that the fuel gas cylinder was intact.
