CHITRAL : The weeklong ‘Chilim Juhst’ spring festival is commencing in the three Kalash valleys from today (Tuesday).
The famous festival is an annual affair in the segregated Bumburate, Birir and Rumbur valleys. Merrymaking in the form of dancing of young girls and boys in groups in the community halls, selection of life partners and performing of certain rituals form the chief events of the festival.
