KARACHI : The federal government has given assurance to the Sindh government that ‘safe and secure environment’ will be provided by the Army and Rangers on the election day, said Inspector General of Police Shahid Nadeem Baloch on Thursday.
“We will be supplementing their quick response force and patrolling plan,” said the police chief while speaking to Dawn at his office about a poll security plan for May 11 and challenges the security apparatus faces.
