LAHORE
A PUNJAB University meeting on Thursday approved establishment of Faqir Muhammad Chair.
According to a press release, PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran presided over the meeting of Finance and Planning Committee at his office.
Faqir Muhammad is maternal grandfather of noted artiste Sohail Ahmed. The meeting also decided honorarium of professor emeritus according to recommendation of Higher Education Commission. It approved health rules
