The Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) has launched an extensive in-house skill development programme for its employees to overcome the problem of over-staffing as well as meeting the shortage of skilled persons in various departments.
Under the programme, the first batch of 30 employees, mostly computer operators and office assistants, is undergoing training in shorthand writing and secretarial procedures.
