BAHAWALPUR : A seminary teacher allegedly sexually assaulted and tortured to death a pre-teen student in Nowshehra Jadid police remit, 30km from here, on Tuesday.
Police said 12-year-old Sajjad Ahmed, son of Aslam, was a student of the seminary in a nearby village.
Aslam said he received a telephone call from seminary teacher Qari Farooq Ahmed that his son had died of injuries after he fell from stairs. When he went to the seminary, he found torture scars on the body.
