Thalassemia prevention ordinance promulgated
KARACHI: Governor of Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on Wednesday promulgated the Sindh Prevention and Control of Thalassemia Ordinance, 2013 to prevent spread of the disease among children. The ceremony in this regard was held at the Governor House on occasion of International Thalassemia Day. Minister of Law Mehmood Yusuf Mandviwalla, said that the ordinance will prevent the spread of this dangerous disease in a large number of children.
