The All Primary Teachers Association (Apta) on Friday rejected the ‘cluster school system’ for monitoring local government primary schools and demanded creation of a separate directorate for primary education.
After presiding over a meeting at a local school, Apta district president Haji Abdul Rahim told reporters that the government should avoid experimenting with the education sector and instead, it should focus on ensuring provision of quality education to the people.
